Student Worker - Wrestling Room

Job Summary

The wrestling room mat cleaner is responsible for showing up in a timely manner to prepare the equipment to spray the mats (filling container with chemical and filling with water), mop the mats, and dispose of the dirty mop head in the laundry chute on a daily basis.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Fill spray equipment with appropriate amounts of chemical and water. Spray the wrestling mats down using the spray equipment Mop the wrestling mats Dispose of dirty mop head Occasionally cleaning the mats on the walls using the same process as the wrestling mats. Other duties as assigned Education Employment eligibility: Currently enrolled Delaware Valley University student Must be authorized to work in the United States and provide required documentation to verify identity and employment eligibility Preferred Knowledge, Skills and Abilities: Timeliness Organizational skills Take pride in their work Physical Requirements and Working Conditions: Occasionally lifting 25 lbs or less Frequently lifting 25 lbs or more Typically standing or walking Occasional bending, crouching, stooping Using tools requiring high dexterity Exposure to chemicals Exposure to unpleasant odors High noise environment High dust, dirt, grease environment Must hold valid driver’s license May have an alternative work schedule
