Position Overview

We’re seeking an upbeat, warm, and attentive Personal Care Assistant to provide daily support and companionship for a client in Russellville, KY. This role is ideal for an easygoing caregiver with a positive personality who excels at keeping a clean home, supporting mobility safely, and engaging in enjoyable daily activities.

Responsibilities

• Perform detailed light housekeeping, including vacuuming, mopping, laundry, dishes, and bathroom cleaning (assisting with low-level tasks the client cannot bend down to reach).
• Prepare simple, delicious meals according to the client’s preferences.
• Provide reliable medication reminders.
• Provide standby mobility support and fall prevention while accompanying the client on short walks or local outings.
• Assist with running errands and driving to appointments or community activities.
• Provide engaging, uplifting companionship (enjoying outdoor sitting, watching sports together, and sharing lighthearted conversation). Environment & Conditions:
• Exceptionally clean, well-maintained home.
• One small dog present in the residence (comfort with pets required).
• No tobacco smoking in the home (client vapes; any smoking is outdoors only).
• Client is mobile but unsteady at times and requires fall-risk supervision.
• Client lives alone. Ideal Candidate:
• Possesses a joyful, approachable demeanor—someone who loves to smile, laugh, and connect naturally.
• Patient, gentle, and respectful (not domineering or overly direct in approach).
• Clear, effective communicator who is easy to understand.
• High professional standard—focused and attentive during hours (strictly no personal phone use except for emergencies).
• Female required per client request.
