Automotive General Sales Manager and Finance Director

We are an independent pre-owned dealership serving Bellingham and the surrounding Whatcom County communities since 2009. We are focused on building a sales operation where production, teamwork and customer care support one another. Responsibilities

of Automotive Sales and Finance Director Desk and structure deals, support trade appraisals and negotiations, and help the team close business. Present financing and protection products, work with lenders, secure approvals and complete transactions within approved policies. Coach sales and F&I staff, conduct focused huddles and develop consistent sales and finance processes.

Ensure deal files, signatures, lender stipulations and required documentation are complete and follow transactions through funding. Ensure deals comply with applicable policies, regulations and approved dealership procedures. Maintain accurate CRM and deal records, monitor follow-up and conversion, and use performance data to coach the team.

Work closely with BDC, accounting, service and other managers to ensure customer commitments are communicated and fulfilled. Resolve customer concerns, document commitments and ensure appropriate follow-up after the sale. Audit completed deals and identify opportunities to improve profitability, compliance, process and customer experience.

Qualifications

of Automotive Sales and Finance Director Demonstrated dealership experience in sales management, F&I management, Finance Director or GSM leadership. Comfortable working both the sales desk and finance process. Proven sales and finance performance with strong deal-structuring skills. Experience coaching, developing and holding sales and F&I team members accountable.

Strong organizational discipline with paperwork, lender requirements, customer information and compliance. Excellent negotiation, presentation and verbal/written communication skills. Customer-first judgment with the ability to balance profitability and customer satisfaction. Proficient with dealership CRM and DMS systems; Tekion experience is a plus.

Valid driver’s license. Experienced F&I Managers who have taken on sales-desk and coaching responsibilities are encouraged to apply alongside established Finance Directors and General Sales Managers.
