Corporate Attorney – Commercial Role Summary This role provides legal guidance and support to the company on commercial contracts and related business matters. The position works with teams across Sales, Procurement, Operations, Engineering, and Finance to review agreements, identify legal risks, and provide practical legal guidance.

This is a hands-on role focused primarily on commercial contracts and transactions, including domestic and international business. The position will also assist with other corporate legal matters as needed.

Key Responsibilities

Contracts and Commercial Matters Draft, review, and negotiate commercial agreements Support customer, supplier, software and intellectual property licensing, services, reseller, distributor, and OEM contracts Support domestic and international sales transactions Procurement and Business Support Provide legal support for procurement, manufacturing, and supply chain agreements Work with business teams on contract review and risk management Contract Processes Improve contract templates and playbooks to increase efficiency Support consistent and timely contract review processes Other Legal Matters Assist with compliance, employment, intellectual property, and disputes as needed Coordinate with outside counsel when appropriate Qualifications JD and active bar membership in good standing Eligible to practice as in-house counsel in Colorado 6+ years of relevant corporate or commercial legal experience Experience drafting and negotiating complex contracts Experience supporting commercial business transactions Practical, business-minded approach Base salary range : $160-200K annually.

Bonus eligible. The anticipated base salary offered will depend on relevant experience, qualifications, skills, and business needs. This range is a good-faith estimate of the compensation Spectra expects to offer at the time of posting. Location: Hybrid in Boulder office. Candidates must reside within commuting distance of our Boulder, CO office.
