Loan Administration Specialist

Shore United Bank is hiring a full-time Loan Administration Specialist to join our team. The Loan Administration Specialist is responsible for supporting the operational integrity and ongoing administration of the Bank's lending portfolio by ensuring critical loan servicing, monitoring, and documentation processes are completed accurately and efficiently. This role supports the Credit Administration and lending functions by facilitating compliance with regulatory requirements, internal policies, and risk management standards while maintaining the accurate flow of information across departments. Serving as a key operational support partner, the position helps ensure that lending activities are properly monitored, documented, and maintained throughout the life of the loan. Through collaboration with internal stakeholders and responsiveness to customer-related inquiries, the role contributes to effective portfolio management, sound credit administration practices, and the overall success of the Bank's lending operations.

What You'll Do:

A detailed list of job duties includes (but is not limited to):

• Monitors and invoices Letter of Credit annual renewals.
• Maintains records on borrower’s financial statements by logging receipt, requesting financial statements, and follow ups with obligors.
• Maintains records of covenants/financial indicators by logging receipt of testing verification, requesting Credit or Lender involvement, and follow ups.
• Monitors asset-based loans. Receives draw requests and required reporting documents to ensure that loan advances are within approved advance rate limits. Periodic requests of required financial reporting documents for active lines of credit.
• Coordinates the monthly renewal process for small lines of credit by receiving, reviewing, and updating information on the renewal reports, gathering the required approval information., and forwarding the final report to the necessary departments and people.
• Initiates review of various segments of loan portfolio. (ie. Automated Approval Monitoring and Rate Resets)
• Monitor and obtain critical loan deficiencies that are 90 days past due.
• Review and obtain necessary documentation for non-originated commercial loans.
• Prepares various vital monthly and quarterly reports.
• Review Borrowers’ insurance claim checks, and decision as to whether the funds will be released to the Borrower or monitored by the Bank.
• Assists in preparation for loan review and bank examinations.
• Demonstrates compliance awareness by completing all required regulatory and compliance training (e.g., BSA, CRA, ECOA) on or before deadlines, and actively supporting all policies, procedures, and practices that promote risk management, safety, and regulatory adherence. Consistently demonstrates the Company’s core values and principles through behaviors, actions, and decisions.

• Westgate Building - 200 Westgate Circle, Annapolis, MD 21401
• Waldorf Branch - 3035 Leonardtown Road, Waldorf, MD 20601

Position Type/Expected Hours of Work:

• Full-time.
• Non-exempt.
• Days of Work: Monday-Friday.

Required Education and Experience:

• High school diploma/GED equivalent.
• 1 year experience successfully providing excellent customer service in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong professional communication skills

Compensation:

• The pay range for this position is $23.00 to $30.00 hourly.
• Actual compensation offered may vary from the posted hiring range based on factors such as relevant experience, time in role, base salary of internal peers, prior performance, business sector, licensure requirements and/or skill level, and will be finalized at the time of offer.
