Position: Catering Prep Cook Location: Putting on the Ritz Catering Employment Type: Full-time/Part-time Responsibilities: Assist in the preparation of ingredients for cooking, including chopping vegetables, marinating meats, and preparing sauces. Follow recipes and portion control guidelines to ensure consistency and quality. Maintain cleanliness and organization in the kitchen, including washing dishes and sanitizing surfaces. Collaborate with chefs and kitchen staff to ensure smooth operations during events. Uphold food safety standards and regulations at all times. Anything additional asked of you by our head chef. Execution of off site cooking for events.Qualifications: Previous experience as a prep cook or similar role in a catering or restaurant setting preferred. Basic knowledge of food preparation techniques and kitchen equipment. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively. Strong attention to detail and a passion for culinary excellence. Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
