Lewisburg, TN 37091 Shift Full time Weekdays, 7:30am – 4:00pm Job Summary Oversees all technical responsibilities in the Mammography Department. Coordinate with physician and hospital staff to provide quality care and patient safety. Participate in hospital-wide performance improvement and customer service programs. Serve on appointed committees.

Excellent interpersonal and management skills required to successfully communicate with employees, technical staff, physicians, patients, administration, other departments and public. Good oral speaking and presentation skills necessary.

Responsibilities

Coordinate departmental operations and staffing, including scheduling, workflow management, and ensuring adequate coverage to support efficient patient care services. Provide leadership and oversight for mammography staff, conducting image quality reviews, coaching team members on performance improvement, leading daily huddles, and fostering a culture of service excellence and accountability.

Maintain compliance with regulatory, accreditation, and quality standards, including MQSA, ACR, Joint Commission requirements, and departmental QA/QC programs, while preparing for surveys and ensuring continued certification readiness. Serve as the subject matter expert for breast imaging services, overseeing imaging protocols, procedure updates, documentation standards, and communication of radiologist-approved changes across the health system.

Collaborate with radiologists, physicians, and multidisciplinary teams to ensure timely scheduling, exam completion, issue resolution, and continuous improvement of breast imaging services. Ensure accuracy of departmental documentation, coding, and billing processes, working closely with radiologists and billing personnel to support proper charge capture, compliance, and revenue integrity.

Qualifications
