Maintenance Technician

Position Summary

As a Maintenance Technician, you are responsible for maintaining the equipment in the facility to include; all manufacturing process equipment, warehouse equipment, and office area. You will be responsible for all mechanical and electrical repairs.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshooting plastic shredding, grinding, blending, extrusion, and other machines and processes.
• Defining parts that need to be ordered after troubleshooting is complete.
• Maintain inventories of tools, spare parts, and consumable supplies.
• Requisition tools, spare parts, and consumable supplies.
• Ability to read and understand machine drawings, building prints, electrical and plumbing schematics.
• Develop preventative maintenance program for all equipment & facility related equipment.
• Perform equipment installations as required and defined by Engineering.
• Have experience in welding, plumbing, electrical, compressed air, and working with process controls.
• Maintaining a clean, organized, and safe maintenance shop and facility.
• Operation of forklift and scissor lift as required.
