Supervisor, Central Supply

The Central Sterile Supply Supervisor assist the Manager in the operational functions of Central Sterile Supply, including, but not limited to, providing leadership and supervision of the staff in the daily operations of the department. Ensures that all regulatory guidelines and best practices are followed; performs all personnel related activities - recruitment; disciplinary counseling, and staff competency; educates and trains Central Sterile Supply Technicians; sets standards for sterilization of instruments; adhering to budgetary guidelines and works with patient care managers to promote quality patient care.

High School Graduate or GED Minimum five (5) years of relevant experience in Central Processing and Supply Management. Certification from the International Association of Healthcare Central Service Material Management (IAHCSMM). OR Certification Board for Sterile Processing and Distribution.
