Collaboration & Documentation Systems Administrator

Overview

We are seeking a Collaboration & Documentation Systems Administrator to manage and optimize enterprise collaboration and documentation platforms. This role is responsible for ensuring systems are secure, scalable, well-governed, and aligned with business processes to support efficient collaboration and document lifecycle management.

Key Responsibilities

Administer and maintain collaboration and documentation platforms, including Jira, Confluence, SharePoint, and e-signature/document management solutions. Configure and optimize workflows, permissions, schemas, and system settings to support cross-functional teams. Establish and maintain governance standards, documentation structures, taxonomy, and metadata.

Manage user access, security, and permission models to ensure compliance and data protection. Improve platform performance, usability, and long-term scalability. Support documentation lifecycle management, ensuring content remains organized, traceable, and compliant. Collaborate with business stakeholders to implement process improvements and platform enhancements.

5+ years of experience administering SaaS collaboration and documentation platforms. Strong hands-on experience with Atlassian Jira, Confluence, SharePoint, Docu. Sign, and/or Adobe Sign. Experience designing and managing Jira workflows, custom approvals, and automation. Strong understanding of access controls, security, and permission management.

Experience developing governance frameworks and documentation standards. Excellent problem-solving, communication, and stakeholder management skills. Self-driven, organized, and results-oriented with the ability to manage enterprise platforms independently.
