Stick Welder

The individual shall be with Minimum 5 years of experience in various welding processes. •Capable to read blue prints/drawings and interpret welding requirements. •Capable to read and interpret welding procedures. •Capable to produce X-RAY quality welds on various metals like carbon steel, stainless steel and alloy steels.

•Capable to weld GTAW, SMAW & FCAW process on piping and structural steels. •Directly reporting to work shop supervisor/work shop Manager. PRIMARY DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES •Read Welding procedures and understand welding process. •Withdraw suitable welding consumables from stores •Welding of pipes and structural items as per welding process specified in the WPS.

•Provide proper connections to welding machines, Holders, gauges and tools. •Safe handling of welding gases and tools/grinders. •Grinding and cleaning/Dress up of the work pieces & welds •Capable to use various welding gauges and measuring tapes. •Clean work place Read welding procedures •Maintain safety regulations and obey company safety rules.
