Lead Casino Bartender $20.00 per hour

PRIMARY JOB FUNCTIONS Functions as a Bartender with additional leadership duties. Demonstrates knowledge of all bartending responsibilities. Performs routine inspections ensuring that the bar is up to Health Department and Safety Code Standards. Must be able to effectively communicate verbally and in writing. Responsible for the accuracy and accountability of individual cash banks, CC Drops and Cash Drops.

Able to Assist and work Banquet Events when needed. Assist on the Casino Floor taking drink orders for guest at gaming tables. Accountability to each drink served; proper amount, and proper value, and it is enter correctly into the P.O.S Acknowledges and greets all customers in a friendly manner. Provides quality beverage service to guests.

Accounts for every drink served; proper amount, and proper value. Maintains a clean and well-organized work area, including washing of bar glasses. Have full knowledge of Food and Beverage items and follow Steps of Service Ensuring/Completing daily checklists Assists supervisor with training and the evaluations of subordinates.

Coordinate between all the Bartender staff and ensure that everything is in working order Have full knowledge of Food and Beverage items and follow Steps of Service Ensure that we are complying with all essential regulations of health and sanitation standards. Able to train new and current staff on are Craft Cocktail Menus.

QUALIFICATIONS

2-5 years bartending experience.

Education

High School Diploma and/or equivalent. Other Requirements: Excellent verbal and interpersonal skills. Knowledge of Safety & Sanitation guidelines as set forth in individual job manuals. Must have a valid food handler card/ Serve Safe Certificate, RBS Certified, and TIPS Alcohol Certification. Ability to stand and walk the entire eight (8) hour shift excluding breaks and meal periods.

Ability to lift sixty (60) pounds for various job related duties; stocking bar with liquor, beer and ice, up to ten (10) times per eight (8) hour shift. Must demonstrate positive/enthusiastic approach to all assignments. Attendance and punctuality are an essential function of the position. Must possess an ability to work with minimal supervision and make educated ethical decisions as necessary.

Must be able to resolve conflicts and have effective communication skills with all levels of employees. Must be able to work effectively and collaboratively in a team environment. Must demonstrate an ability to work independently, prepare detailed professional correspondence, memoranda, policies, procedures as well as regulations related to the employee’s duties.

A general knowledge of the Windows based computer operating systems is also required. SCHEDULED HOURS Commerce Casino operates 24 hours, 7 days a week. Schedules may vary depending on business needs.
