Job description
Job Description: To ensure smooth running of the Linen Services. Understand the philosophy, objectives , policies and standards of the hospital and nursing services. Adhere to the Hospital policies and procedure are that are relevant to the department. Maintain the cleanliness of the linen store. Maintain the cleanliness of the stock and rearranges it neatly at all linen cupboards.
Collect dirty linen from the wards and various services and deliver it to the dirty utility. Check the number of linens taken for washing are counted and recorded. Check and record the number of clean linens received from laundry vendor. Distributes clean laundry to the relevant area twice daily according to the departmental par level.
Assists in monthly inventory of linen and stock count. Keep a record of non-conformance linen. To wear or always use any personal protective equipment (PPE) or clothing provided by the management for the purpose of preventing risks to his/her safety and health.
Requirements
Education
Minimum SPM holder Knowledge and Experiences: 1-3 years of experience handling linen Familiarity with Microsoft Excel Experience in healthcare industry will be advantage Knowledge on inventory and stock count Ability to work collaboratively in a team and interface with various levels of the organization. Skills & Competencies: Spoken English and Bahasa Melayu .
