Job Description This position involves driving 24’ to 26’ box trucks/ straight trucks deliveries and pickups involve using liftgates, power pallet jacks, and other provided equipment to move freight at customer locations. Our drivers work Monday – Friday with weekends off.

Requirements

At least 21 years of age. Standard Driver’s license. Valid DOT Medical Certification Must have a clean driving record. No DUI or positive drug/alcohol screen in the past 3 years Ability to effectively communicate with customers, co-workers, and supervisor/ management team.

Responsibilities

Safely and efficiently operate box trucks/ straight trucks of different sizes Adapting to challenging conditions like inclement weather and various road conditions Ability to meet the company’s dependability standards for employees Ability to chain as needed and to work in inclement weather as required Availability to work weekends and / or nights if needed Other duties as assigned Benefits Overtime after 8 hours daily Oak Harbor Freight Lines offers an internal , get paid while training program to become a Class A Driver.
