Job Summary

The primary responsibility of this position is to analyze data for replacement of inventory for structural and others.

Essential Duties

& Responsibilities: Purchasing of steel materials– quoting, pricing, placing orders, change orders Reviews various data\reports – New PO Suggestions, Change PO Suggestions, Stock Status Dashboard for negatives, etc., including items assigned by manager. Maintain pricing lists and update various reports Processes invoice pricing.

Expedite purchase orders. Quoting to assist sales and field sales calls. Creates product codes on all commodities Assist with scheduling inbound materials. Non-conformities Conflict minerals Assists with special projects as assigned. Maintains and trains all new purchasing employees.

Requirements

College degree preferred. 1 - 2 years of buying experience is preferred. This position requires proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook. Working environment/physical demands: Office environment/no specific or unusual physical or environmental demands. Other: Perform other duties as assigned.
