Tennis Center Attendant

TENNIS CENTER ATTENDANT Seeking responsible indoor tennis facility attendant to provide customer service, supervision and minor custodial work. Applicants must be able to work at least two midday shifts Monday-Friday.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Provide excellent customer service in person and over the phone for indoor tennis facility
• Serve as supervisor-on-duty during shift.
• Use computer software to handle reservations, payments, class rosters, etc.
• Minor custodial work includes vacuuming, sweeping courts, filling and moving water coolers (must be able to lift 25-30 lbs.).
• Ability to use sound judgement/resolve unexpected issues.

Requirements

• Must have excellent customer service skills, effective and friendly communication style, both on the phone and in person.
• Demonstrated ability to use sound judgement/resolve unexpected issues.
• Competency with Microsoft Office Suite. RecTrac software familiarity is a plus.
• Must be able to lift 25-30 lbs.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Must obtain or hold current First Aid and CPR, and AED certifications from either American Red Cross or American Heart Association prior to start of position.
• Basic knowledge of tennis preferred. Hours: Primarily midday shifts with some ability to occasionally substitute at other times. Must be able to commit to at least two of the following as a regular weekly shift:
• Mondays 1:45-5:30pm
• Tuesdays 1:45-5:30pm or 1:45-8:15pm
• Wednesdays 12:30-5:45pm
• Thursdays 8:45am-1:45pm
• Thursdays 1:45-5:30pm
