Account Officer (Pharmacy)

Job Summary

We are looking for a detail-oriented and organized Account Officer to support the day-to-day financial and administrative operations of a community pharmacy. The ideal candidate will be responsible for bookkeeping, maintaining accurate records, daily accounting activities, inventory records, and data entry.

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain accurate financial and accounting records. * Handle daily bookkeeping and accounting entries. * Record and monitor daily sales and expenses. * Maintain accurate inventory records and assist with stock reconciliation. * Enter financial, sales, and inventory data into the appropriate systems. * Monitor stock movement and identify discrepancies.

• Prepare basic daily and periodic financial reports. * Keep proper records of invoices, receipts, payments, and other financial documents. * Assist with reconciliation of cash, sales, and inventory records. * Ensure all records are properly organized and up to date. * Support other administrative and accounting duties as required.

Requirements

Minimum of an OND, HND, NCE, or equivalent qualification. A BSc is not mandatory. Good knowledge of basic accounting and bookkeeping principles. Must be computer literate and comfortable using Microsoft Excel/Google Sheets and other basic accounting tools. Strong attention to detail and accuracy. Good numerical and record-keeping skills.

Ability to organize and maintain confidential records. Previous pharmacy experience is not required. MUST reside in or close to Ikeja, No accommodation is provided
