Clinical Nurse Supervisor

License/Certification Requirements: Must have a valid driver’s license, current insurance, or be insurable. Licensed as a Registered Nurse in MN. CPR/BLS. Summary: Provides direction, coordination, supervision and implementation of professional and supportive services to residents/elders in accordance with the Nurse Practice Act.

Assures that residents/elders are treated with respect and dignity, recognizing individual needs and encouraging independence. Responsible for planning, implementing, coordinating, and evaluating resident/elder care to ensure the highest quality of care for the residents.

Education

Graduate of an accredited nursing program with a current license as a Registered Nurse in the state of practice. No limitations or provisional license. Minimum of two years’ experience in nursing with a combination of assisted living, long term care, dementia care or acute care. Prior supervisory/management experience.

Proficient in MN assisted living regulations and statutes. Additional Qualifications and Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills and strong interpersonal skills. Knowledgeable of electronic health records (EHR). Knowledgeable of Microsoft word and Excel. Exemplary time management and organizational skills.

Pre-employment drug testing is mandatory for all Leech Lake Band of Ojibwe safety sensitive positions. Supervisory Duties: Supervises all clinical staff members. Duties/Responsibilities: Administration duties . Coordination of services. Quality improvement. Customer services. Work environment. Policy implementation. Develop and implement policies within the Red Cedar Assisted Living.

Other job duties assigned. Physical Requirements: Ability to endure prolonged walking, sitting, standing, use of pulling, bending, and stooping movements. Ability to lift 35lbs or less. Physical Requirements: Possible hazardous exposure to airborne and bloodborne pathogens. PPE use required as conditions and policy warrant.
