Saw Shop Operator

Wage is $18.00 per hour + production bonus Schedule: Monday–Thursday, 5:00 AM–3:00 PM; Friday, 5:00 AM–10:00 AM Job Responsibilities Operate and assist with automated wood-processing equipment.

Cut and process lumber according to production specifications. Inspect lumber for quality and remove damaged or defective materials. Feed and handle lumber throughout the production process. Monitor equipment to ensure safe and efficient operation. Properly identify and tag finished materials. Follow all safety procedures, including lockout/tagout requirements.

Maintain a clean and organized work area. Work as part of a team to meet daily production goals.

Qualifications

Dependable with a strong work ethic. Ability to follow instructions and work well with others. Strong attention to detail and commitment to workplace safety. Willingness to learn and operate production equipment. Previous manufacturing or machine operation experience is a plus but not required. Physical Requirements Ability to stand and remain active throughout the shift.

Ability to lift and handle materials weighing up to 50 pounds. Ability to work in a saw shop environment with varying temperatures. Ability to safely perform assigned job duties.
