Associate Professor of Theatre and Dance

The University of Redlands invites applications for a tenure-track Associate Professor who will serve as Chair of the Department of Theatre and Dance. Position starts August 2027. Seeking a theatre generalist with expertise in directing and costume design. Additional areas of interest include Acting, Dance, Musical Theatre, Theatre History, Chicano/Latine Theatre, Community based Theatre, Social Justice, Diversity in U.

S. Theatre, and Devised Theatre.

Responsibilities

will include teaching the equivalent of three courses per semester, directing and designing productions and teaching courses that can be cross listed with Race and Ethnic Studies, Gender and Women’s Studies, and/or Studio Art.
