Support Engineer

Role: Manhattan Warehouse Management System (WMS) Support Consultant Experience: 2–5 years Project Type: Application Support Work Mode: Hybrid Mode Job Summary We are looking for an experienced Manhattan WMS Support Consultant to support and enhance warehouse management operations. The candidate will be responsible for production support, incident management, root cause analysis, SQL-based investigation, and coordination with business stakeholders to ensure smooth warehouse operations.

Key Responsibilities

Provide L2/L3 application support for Manhattan WMS. Analyze and resolve production incidents, service requests, and application issues within defined SLAs. Perform root cause analysis and implement permanent fixes for recurring issues. Use SQL, PL/SQL, and UNIX commands for data analysis and troubleshooting. Support warehouse processes, including receiving, put-away, picking, packing, shipping, and inventory management.

Coordinate with business users, technical teams, and stakeholders to resolve issues. Participate in testing, deployment, release activities, and production go-live support. Maintain technical documentation, incident reports, and knowledge articles. Identify opportunities for process improvement and automation.

Required Skills

Hands-on experience with Manhattan WMS. Strong SQL and database troubleshooting skills. Knowledge of UNIX/Linux commands and shell scripting. Experience in incident, problem, and change management. Good analytical, troubleshooting, communication, and stakeholder-management skills.

Preferred Qualifications

Experience supporting high-volume distribution centers and warehouse operations. Knowledge of integrations, interfaces, and warehouse system configurations. Experience working in a 24/7 production support environment. Familiarity with ITIL processes and SLA management.

Education

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related discipline.
