Environmental Technician (Housekeeping) Volunteer

The Environmental Technician Volunteer supports the YMCA by helping maintain a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for members, guests, and staff at the Dahl and Houser branches.

Key Responsibilities

Assist with cleaning and sanitizing common areas, restrooms, offices, and program spaces Restock supplies and support daily housekeeping needs Clean and fold towels Follow YMCA safety, cleaning, and infection-control procedures Report maintenance or safety concerns to YMCA staff Requirements Reliable, detail-oriented, and willing to help Ability to perform light to moderate physical tasks Commitment to the YMCA’s mission and values Benefits Make a meaningful impact in your local community Gain experience in facility operations and housekeeping Build connections with YMCA staff and volunteers Enjoy a sense of purpose by supporting a healthy, welcoming environment
