Group Fitness Instructor

• BIRMINGHAM, AL, Position Type: Contractor, Salary Range: Undisclosed, Seeking a qualified professional to provide customized fitness programs to the customer that include education and guidance on proper nutrition, cardiovascular exercise, resistance training and other programs to help the member achieve their health and wellness goals. Pay Rate: $60 per class The Country Club of Birmingham is looking to add motivated, professional group fitness instructors to our team! We’re looking or instructors who teach: All formats – dance, Bodypump, kettlebell, cardio, mobility, yoga, cycle, etc. Have a positive, professional attitude. Are passionate about coaching and building relationships Hold a nationally ranked group fitness certification Are dependable and motivated Enjoy working with people of all ages Successful Candidates will have: Current Nationally Accredited Group Fitness/ Personal Trainer Certification such as: ACE, AFAA, NASM, ACSM, NSCA, Cooper Clinic, AFAA required Valid liability insurance required. Experience in conducting Fitness Assessments, Group Exercise or Personal Training required Ability to adjust and operate fitness equipment required CPR/ AED Certified a plus Four-year degree in kinesiology, sports medicine, or related field preferred Excellent communication and customer service skills Basic salesmanship principals Motivation, energy, and enthusiasm, with a desire to succeed Individual and team contributor Racquets and golf environment activity a plus.

Compensation

based on a total revenue generated per month, paid a % of total.
