The Hero's Return is recruiting Location: Battersea Power Station Chef De Partie Job Overview We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Chef de Partie to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing and cooking high-quality dishes in accordance with our standards. This role offers an excellent opportunity for those passionate about food to develop their skills and progress within a busy kitchen environment.

Our ideal Chef de Partie will play a vital part in maintaining the smooth operation of the kitchen, by being able to deliver great food to a deadline, as well as being able to make sure all EHO regulations and compliance is adhered to, and delivering exceptional meals every single time for our diners.

Responsibilities

Prepare, cook, and present dishes according to our specs and standards Oversee specific sections of the kitchen, such as grill, pastry, or sauté stations Assist in the daily rotation of kitchen supplies and ingredients and the order of the kitchen Maintain cleanliness and organisation of workstations to comply with EHO standards Being able to collaborate with your colleagues to ensure efficient and calm service during busy periods Produce consistently presented, high quality food Support junior kitchen staff with training and guidance as required Skills Proven experience in food preparation and cooking within a professional kitchen environment Strong knowledge of culinary technique Familiarity with EHO & Compliance Excellent organisational skills & the ability to work efficiently under pressure Communication skills to coordinate effectively with your colleagues Previous restaurant experience Ability to serve guests courteously when required This role is ideal for motivated individuals eager to learn and progress into more senior roles, while contributing to the culture of a brand new restaurant with a huge opportunity to grow.
