Visual Merchandiser

Mitchell Stores is a family-owned luxury retailer known for top class customer service. Become an integral part of the Mitchells Stores business, as a Visual Merchandiser. You will play a leading role in the overall aesthetic and functionality of our store's visual experience. Our Visual Merchandiser will have an ability to roll out themes in our windows to get buyers attention and will continue throughout the in-store experience. You will interact and collaborate with a variety of individuals of all levels; including visual director, store management, team members, vendors and customers. Our visual merchandiser will embody our culture and deliver the most professional and exciting customer experience in line with our company's core values.

We are looking for an enthusiastic passionate individual that possesses the following:

• 5+ years Luxury Retail Visual Merchandising Experience
• A minimum of a High School Diploma or equivalent, college degree preferred
• A well-versed knowledge of Women's and Men's fashion
• A passion for the latest fashion trends and the ability to style mannequins
• Solid experience in signing with cut vinyl or similar graphic background
• Basic construction skills in building, assembly of visual propsand comfort in using power tools
• The ability to move up to 50 pounds, be able to reach, crouch, kneel and stoop as well as be comfortable with heights and working on a ladder
• Excellent communication skills including a high level of written, verbal and interpersonal skills to be able to effectively communicate information and ideas to management and team members
• Friendly and welcoming nature
• The ability to work a regular, full-time schedule with occasional pivots due to special events and store needs
• Be a self-starter and work well independently and as part of a team with the ability to adapt quickly to changing priorities
• A love and passion for creating something "NEW" every day
• the ability to deliver clear and thoughtful direction to support staff, always encouraging growth

The successful candidate will also need to pay close attention to detail, be creative, innovative, fashion conscious, dependable and punctual as well as have a Positive spirit and "can-do attitude!"
