The life of a SARCAN Equipment Operator

1. Each and every SARCAN team member is an important part of our team and our community. As an Equipment Operator 1 you will be responsible for: Operating equipment that including but not limited to: The glass shack Metal or plastics baler Forklift Sort belt Power pallet jack In the absence of Equipment Operator 2, will be responsible for the operation of the front-end loader, if certified and fully trained. Assisting with trailer unloading duties when necessary. Assisting with general clean up and maintenance duties. Attending training and workshops as required. Performing other duties as assigned. Becoming the biggest recycling expert among all of your family and friends What are the skills you must have to perform this role? To be successful as an Equipment Operator 1 at SARCAN, you will need to: Possess good communication, both written and verbal. Display amazing customer service skills. Have the ability to do physical work. Be dependable and reliable.

• Possess Forklift certification, required to operate the forklift and front-end loader.
• Have the ability to work in a safe and timely manner. Provide a satisfactory criminal record and vulnerable sector check. Are you interested in joining our team?
