Housekeeper (Full-Time)

Housekeeper A lovely family with school-age children is hiring a full-charge, hands-on Housekeeper for a full-time, year-round position based in Englewood, NJ. This individual will be responsible for maintaining the highest standards of cleanliness, presentation, and organization throughout the residence. The ideal candidate has significant experience in luxury private homes and possesses an exceptional eye for detail.

This role requires a hands-on professional who is knowledgeable in the proper care of fine furnishings, luxury finishes, artwork, linens, and wardrobe. The successful candidate will be proactive, discreet, highly organized, and comfortable operating within a beautiful private residence.

Responsibilities

Perform daily housekeeping and deep cleaning Help maintain a smooth daily operation, general household organization, and communicate proactively regarding household needs, preferences, or maintenance concerns Perform all household and personal laundry, ironing, steaming, linen care, and detailed closet organization. Must have strong fabric knowledge and know when to coordinate with outside expert cleaners for delicate garments.

Log and track dry-cleaning Vendor supervision and coordination Assist with household inventories, supply management, and routine provisioning Run errands, grocery shop, etc. Greet guests in a polished, professional manner Qualifications Prior experience in a similar housekeeping position with excellent verifiable references Professional demeanor and appearance with a positive, pleasant personality Sound knowledge on proper care protocols with the ability to care for antiques, artwork, crystal, fine china, silver, brass, marble, fine linens, and cookware, etc.

Hard working; meticulous and detail-oriented with strong organization skills Flexible and able to accommodate changes in plans/routine with ease Discreet and respectful of principals’ privacy; willing to sign a confidentiality agreement Long term intent Able to communicate effectively and readily with managers and principals Able to perform the essential functions of the job with or without accommodation of any limitations you may have to performing those essential functions Willing to perform any other duties as may be requested Able to work legally in the United States If this position meets the local, state, or federal criteria for a pre-employment candidate credit check, one may be ordered after a signed FCRA acknowledgement is retained Schedule Generally, Monday to Friday, daytime hours (8 am to 4 pm or 9 am to 5 pm) Some flexibility to occasionally support entertaining is appreciated Compensation & Benefits Hourly rate of $55-$65/hour Annual discretionary bonus Healthcare coverage PTO, sick days, vacation days To Apply: Please apply at www.
