Local Truck Driver CDL B Route Delivery

Responsibilities

Multiple-stop deliveries in straight truck with lift gate. Drive CDL trucks to transport materials and equipment to specific route destinations. Touch freight, push/pull 300 pound cases of books up and down handicap ramps. Inside delivery into elementary school storage rooms and/or libraries. Provide excellent customer service.

Checking mechanical aspects of the vehicle. Reporting maintenance/repair issues on tractors and trailers. Excellent customer service skills: communication with customers and being the "face of the company". Outward and inward facing cameras, no audio.

Requirements

1 year and/or 40,000 miles local CDL B route delivery, experience with touch freight and/or food industry delivery is preferred. Current DOT Medical Card and be able to pass pre-employment DOT drug and criminal background screen. Hold a valid Class B Commercial Driver´s License, with air brakes endorsement. Be in excellent physical condition and be able to stand, sit, kneel, bend, lift, push, pull for extended periods and have normal use of senses.

Able to work in all types of environments and under difficult conditions; hot, cold, dust, indoors, outdoors. Legally eligible to work in the U.S. Must be able to read, speak, write, and understand English. Must pass pre-hire drug screen and physical. Be able to push and/or pull up to 300 pounds with no assistance.
