We’re looking for an Associate Director, Communications Planning who can think fast, see around corners, and turn insight into real impact.
You’ll lead comms planning for financial-services brands that demand depth, rigor, and smart storytelling, and you’ll help shape work that actually moves audiences and markets. What You’ll Lead Strategic Direction Partner with the insight, analytics and account teams to infuse audience-led insights into every plan, large or small Build channel-smart, competition-aware strategies that help financial brands stand out and stay relevant.
Turn complex client challenges into clear, actionable, insight-driven recommendations. Rally the team along with you to continue pushing the envelope every day in the kinds of ideas we bring to clients Set the bar for quality and ensure all work ladders up to a strong strategic throughline. Keep teams and clients ahead of industry trends, evolving best practices, and emerging opportunities.

Who You Are
6–8+ years in comms planning or media strategy, ideally in complex categories like finance. Fluent in channel strategy, audience insights, competitive intelligence, and performance storytelling. Strong analytical instincts matched with strong creative problem-solving. A natural leader who loves developing people as much as developing strategy.
Someone who brings energy, clarity, and momentum to every room.
New York: $100,000.00-$135,000.00 Omnicom’s policy requires employees to work in the office for a minimum of three days a week, unless additional in-office days are directed by their agency or manager. Our objective is to increase this requirement over time, and many of our agencies as well as Omnicom’s corporate group already require five days of in-office attendance.
