Head of Warehousing (m/f/x)

We are looking for you to join our logistics center in Weil am Rhein as soon as possible as a Head of Warehousing (m/f/x).

Your Responsibilities

Overall responsibility for the operational management and continuous development of the warehouse Management of all warehouse processes, from goods receipt, put-away and order picking to packing and dispatch Planning and management of staffing, capacity, warehouse space and shift schedules Leading, motivating and developing the warehouse team Responsibility for inventory accuracy, stocktaking and relevant warehouse KPIs Ensuring productivity, quality, efficiency, workplace safety and adherence to process standards Continuously improving warehouse processes, automation and other improvement initiatives Close collaboration with internal stakeholders and active contribution to the development of the logistics strategy Your Profile Several years of professional experience in warehouse management or logistics, ideally with leadership experience Completed technical or commercial training, ideally with additional qualifications in logistics; a university degree is a plus Strong knowledge of warehouse organisation, material flow and process optimisation Proven experience in leading larger teams, including Team Leads Confident use of WMS, ERP and logistics systems, as well as good MS Office/Excel skills Strong organisational, communication and leadership skills, combined with a high level of accountability and assertiveness Technical understanding, a structured and solution-oriented approach, and a hands-on mentality Fluent German and business-fluent English
