About This Role We're looking for a Counter Parts Person to join the Parts Department at our Indianapolis, IN location. You'll be the first point of contact for customers at the counter and on the phone, helping them find the right truck and trailer parts and making sure orders are filled accurately and on time. If you have experience with truck or trailer parts and an outgoing, detail-oriented personality that loves helping customers, come join a winning team.

Medical, Dental & Vision coverage Prescription (Rx) coverage 401(k) with employer match Paid vacation Company-paid life insurance Short-term disability coverage Company-logo apparel What You'll Do Greet customers promptly and courteously at the counter and on the phone Take customer trailer part orders and enter them into our parts inventory system Identify the right parts using online resources and parts catalogs Suggest additional parts and accessories to meet customer needs Pull in-stock items from inventory and complete all required paperwork before releasing parts Make sure all parts are picked up or delivered on time Check in received parts, match packing lists to orders, and put parts away in the proper bins Stock and restock the parts warehouse, and return unsold merchandise to stock Keep the inventory control system accurate and provide updated information for stock orders Conduct periodic cycle counts to reconcile in-stock inventory Perform other duties as assigned What We're Looking For Experience with truck or trailer parts preferred Customer service oriented with an outgoing personality Excellent written and verbal communication skills Strong listening skills Data entry skills and strong attention to detail Physical Requirements Prolonged sitting, standing, and stooping/kneeling Reaching with arms and hands Ability to lift up to 50 lbs Ability to work independently Ready to join a winning parts team with one of North America's largest semi-trailer dealerships?
