ATA Services, Inc., is looking for a full-time Accounting Clerk III to work with our client the Hawaii State Hospital. Please review the details listed below: Hourly Rate: $24.92 Desired start date: ASAP Schedule: Monday

• Friday, 7:45 am - 4:30 pm Location: 45-710 Kea’ahala Road, Kaneohe, HI 96744 Summary: The function of this organizational unit is to provide fiscal, budgeting, billing and collection services of the Hawaii State Hospital (HSH). The primary purpose of this position is to compute and prepare bills and statements for services provided to patients and other agencies, post service charges to individual ledgers, receive and post cash receipts, control subsidiary ledgers for accounts receivable, and prepare vouchers to refund overpayments. General Responsibilities: Computes monthly charges for patients that are not considered to be indigent or medically indigent, their parents or legal guardians for services provided by the hospital. Review invoices submitted by contractors and vendors for accuracy Prepare purchase order for approval for encumbrance. Submit purchase order and invoices for payment. Census
• Record daily discharges, admissions, and leaves to and from the hospital.
• For admission, prepare client index card and folder, verify medical benefits with Med quest and update client information.
• Update client information report daily and distribute updated semi-monthly report and end of the month report to Accountant, Patients Accounts Manager, Dispensary and Social Services. Cash Receipts Controls Journal for Accounts Receivable
• Maintains Cash Receipt Control Journal for all funds received by cash or check to be credited to each assigned account.
