Production Welder / Fabricator

Amcanu is a sheet metal manufacturer with specialist expertise in building world-class industrial enclosures and data cabinets. We’re now looking for someone to join our team and help us improve productivity. This role requires a pro-active individual with experience in TIG & MIG welding of steel, stainless steel and aluminium.

We’re looking for an experienced welder who can maintain optimum productivity while ensuring our quality standards are always being met. We’d hope the right person would work closely with our Welding Shop Team Leader and Production Controller to become an integral part of the Amcanu team.

Key Responsibilities

Our ideal Production Welder will be expected to: Read and understand fabrication drawings. Setup and control TIG & MIG welding sets. Maintain daily equipment checks. Maintain quality and part tolerances. Work with thin gauge sheet metal. As a member of the Amcanu team, the position holder is also expected to: Maintain professional development.

Bring excitement to the role; raising the standard and introducing new ideas. Know, understand and comply with Amcanu’s policies and working procedures. Support Amcanu’s culture and working environment.
