Packaging Operator

Job Description: This role will be accountable for the performance of several machines, processes, pieces of equipment and operational decisions at line level to achieve targets and coordinate resources as required. Some form of mechanical/technical troubleshooting is required for this role as you are the first person on the line to assess issues and find a solution for them.

There will also be an element of leading/coaching/training the associates dedicated to your line so some form of leadership experience would be beneficial but is not a must. What are we looking for? Troubleshooting skills to maintain line production and correct minor stops on the equipment. High school diploma or equivalent required.

Team-First mindset to maintain our culture here at Mars. Experience in FMCG / High speed production – desirable. What will be your key responsibilities? Identify and repair mechanical breakdowns on various machinery. Performing hourly checks to ensure compliance within our Food Safety standards. Perform changeovers based on the SKU mix on the schedule.

Perform material traceability checks to ensure that correct materials are being consumed. Accountable for the performance of several machines, processes, or pieces of equipment.
