Job Description: Primary Responsibilities: To support the budgeting, planning, and execution of forestry operations, primarily for Forestry Services clients and for outside stumpage sales of fee timberland. Frequent communication with Forestry Service clients – existing and potential Marketing of timber to outside vendors for both fee timberland and Forestry Services clients Harvest planning and supervision, implementing silvicultural prescriptions, and asset protection A combination of both field- and office-based duties, such as forest inventories, streamside management zone and boundary marking, collecting GPS field data, prescribed burning, logging and planting supervision, and computer-based reporting and management Qualifications/Education Requirements: Attention to detail, creative thinking, and communication skills are vital for success in this role.

Bachelor’s degree in forestry Outstanding safety record in all aspects of previous employment Proficient in Microsoft Suite and ArcGIS software Experience in conducting performance assessments and applying appropriate control measures; timber-sales administration and inspections; and forest measurements Behavioral Skills: Behavioral skills are critical for determining success in a career.
