Assist with accounts receivable and collection activity. Complete patient visit log. Prepare and submit supply list for billing. Performs other duties as assigned by supervisor Job Conditions: Position is stressful in terms of meeting deadlines It is a primarily a desk job, which essentially involves sitting, standing, stooping, and walking, as well as an inordinate amount of telephone communication Qualifications: Two years of home healthcare and hospice billing experience or basic knowledge of medical terminology preferred Ability to work well under pressure and meet regulatory deadlines and deliver effective results Excellent computer and phone skills Excellent customer service and communication skills High School Diploma (or GED or High School Equivalence Certificate) Patriot Homecare is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
