Military Real Property/Real Estate Specialist

VISTA Technology Services, Inc. (VISTA) is currently seeking a Real Property/Real Estate Specialist to support our AMC customer. This position will report onsite in Huntsville, AL 5 days a week (M-F). The successful candidate will be part of a highly professional, results-oriented company and will provide onsite facility and installation support services to Headquarters, Army Materiel Command (AMC) and subordinate commands and installations.

Responsibilities

Provide subject matter expertise within AMC on real property inventory, inspection, recording, auditing and capital improvements to real property in accordance with appropriate Army regulations Recommend command-level improvements to real property inventory policy and management and assist with the implementation of approved solutions Develop command-level management tools and internal controls to monitor and improve the accuracy of the real property inventory Perform command-level audits of real estate transactions, technical planning documents, and legal land descriptions to ensure data integrity and regulatory conformance Conduct in-person and virtual staff assistance visits to AMC installations to provide training and assistance with GFEBS data entry and reconciliations Develop requirements and assist with the creation of real property business intelligence reporting solutions Basic Qualifications: 5+ years of experience supporting Army Real Property offices Knowledge of DoD real estate principles, practices, and regulations Experience with GFEBS data entry and reconciliations Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Access, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams) and SharePoint in a business office environment Excellent verbal and written communication skills Ability to demonstrate strong research and analysis skills Able to travel 1 week/month Active DoD Secret Clearance Desired Qualifications: Experience working at an Army general officer level headquarters VISTA offers a competitive leave package and a generous benefit plan which includes medical, dental, vision, life and disability insurance, tuition assistance, and an employer-matching 401(k) plan.
