Quality Technician

Quality Technician. Location: Clawiter (Kato as needed). Schedule: Monday

• Friday from 8am - 4:30pm (flexibility for OT). In this role, you will support the Manufacturing Engineering team and work cross-functionally with Vehicle Engineering, Corporate Quality, and Supplier Quality within Sigma Software Vertex. You will use your technical background to perform root cause analysis on vehicles, record their findings, and communicate critical information to the cross-functional team.In this role, you will:Read technical drawings and CAD to understand part design and intended assembly. Communicate with cross-functional teams to facilitate root cause analysis. Develop and document troubleshooting techniques. Work with Manufacturing Engineering to identify and communicate trends. Create and update quality documents. Develop training plans for inspection, quality standards, and quality alerts.Qualifications. Associates Degree with 4-6 years of experience as a quality technicianor HS Diploma/GED with 6-8 years of exerience as a quality technician. Ability to read technical drawings and understand CAD models. Broad technical background in mechanical and electrical systems. Experience performing root cause analysis. Ability to read PFMEA and Control Plans. Bonus QualificationsA.S. in Mechanical Engineering or Electrical Engineering3+ years of technician experience in automotive manufacturing.
