Client Accounting Advisor

We are expanding our real estate & construction practice and looking for an experienced Client Controller to join our team.

Duties and responsibilities

As a Client Controller, you’ll serve as a trusted financial partner to multiple real estate clients, overseeing daily accounting and providing strategic insight into their financial performance.

Key Responsibilities

Manage all day-to-day accounting operations for assigned clients Oversee Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable, and cash flow Prepare and review weekly, bi-weekly and/or Month-End Financial Statements and Forecasts Reconcile General Ledger activity and ensure data accuracy Build and maintain client relationships through proactive communication Analyze financial trends and identify opportunities for growth and efficiency Provide insight on job costing, WIP, budgeting, and project profitability Assist in implementing automation tools and process improvements Work with software like QuickBooks Online/Desktop, Bill.

com, and Fathom Qualifications Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field 3+ years of experience in public accounting or similar role Real Estate or Construction accounting experience preferred Knowledge of GAAP (CPA license a plus) Advanced Excel and Microsoft Office skills Strong communication skills and client-facing confidence Highly organized, analytical, and detail-oriented Experience with job and project accounting, commission tracking, or property management systems is a plus Familiarity with QuickBooks Online &, Bill.
