Warehouse/Distribution Manager

Warehouse & Distribution Manager Location: Birmingham, Alabama We are a leading major appliance distributor serving builders, contractors, and homeowners throughout the Southeast and are seeking an experienced Warehouse & Distribution Manager to lead warehouse operations, inventory control, transportation, and final-mile delivery.

Responsibilities

• Manage daily warehouse operations, including receiving, inventory, order fulfillment, and shipping.
• Lead, train, and develop warehouse and delivery team members.
• Oversee delivery scheduling, routing, and transportation. Provide best in class final-mile and in-home appliance delivery performance.
• Ensure on-time, damage-free deliveries and excellent customer service.
• Maintain inventory accuracy and operational efficiency.
• Ensure safe operations and compliance with company, OSHA, and DOT standards.
• Collaborate with sales and customer service teams to support builder and retail customers.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of warehouse, distribution, or logistics management experience.
• Experience managing final-mile or in-home delivery operations.
• Experience with inventory management and warehouse systems.
• Strong leadership and team development skills.
• Excellent organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Knowledge of fleet operations, and DOT regulations.
• Appliance, building products, or home improvement distribution experience preferred.
