Registered Dietitian

Registered Dietitian – Part-Time Naamans Creek Country Manor in Garnet Valley, PA is seeking a Part-Time Registered Dietitian (RD) to join our team. This position offers approximately 16–24 hours per week, Monday through Friday, with scheduling flexibility based on the needs of the facility. We are looking for a dependable, clinically strong RD who is comfortable working in a busy long-term care environment and collaborating with nursing, dietary, and interdisciplinary teams.

Qualifications

Current CDR registration (Commission on Dietetic Registration) required Active Pennsylvania Dietitian License required Must be a Registered Dietitian (RD) — RDE candidates will not be considered 1–2 years of long-term care experience preferred Experience in a CHF (Congestive Heart Failure) certified facility preferred Strong communication, organization, and time-management skills Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities Key Responsibilities Attend AM and clinical meetings while on site Complete nutritional assessments for new admissions and readmissions Complete MDS assessments according to schedule Review weekly, monthly, and daily weights and assess significant changes Develop and maintain individualized nutritional care plans Complete quarterly nutritional reviews Conduct monthly assessments for Nutrition at Risk (NAR) residents, including those with wounds, significant weight changes, poor intake, and other nutritional concerns Monitor therapeutic and modified diets for accuracy Communicate nutritional recommendations effectively with nursing and dietary staff Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to support quality resident care Schedule & Compensation Schedule: Monday–Friday, approximately 16–24 hours per week Hours: Flexible and determined with the Administrator based on facility needs Salary: Negotiable based on experience and qualifications This is a fast-paced facility where strong communication, organization, and time-management skills are essential.
