POSITION OVERVIEW

The Production and Product Operator (PPO) supports day-to-day manufacturing and product fulfillment operations. Primary responsibilities include operating injection molding equipment, inspecting finished products for quality, recording production information, packing finished products, and maintaining a clean and safe work environment.

The PPO will follow production schedules, work instructions, quality standards, and safety procedures established by the General Manager or supervisor. The position may perform basic operator-level machine checks and minor adjustments as trained and authorized and will promptly report equipment, quality, or safety concerns.

The PPO may also assist with inventory organization, production recording in the Inventory Management System (IMS), packaging, order preparation, and other product-related activities as needed. The PPO is expected to follow all company safety procedures and applicable OSHA requirements while contributing to established production and quality goals.

COMPENSATION

$18.00 Hours per Week: Up to 24 hours per week Weekly Wages: $432.00 (at up to 24 hours hours/week) Annual Wages: $20,736 (at up to 24 hours/week) KEY RESPONSIBILITIES Day to day operation of injection mold machines. Performing basic operator-level checks, cleaning, and minor adjustments you have been trained and authorized to perform.

Conducting Quality Control Checks to ensure products meet standards. Recording production data in Inventory Management System and reporting any issues. Packing products according to customer specifications. Complying with OSHA regulations, including the use of personal protective equipment (PPE), lockout/tagout procedures, and hazard communication standards.

Participating in regular safety training sessions and maintaining up-to-date knowledge of OSHA guidelines. Reporting any equipment malfunctions, safety hazards, or workplace injuries to supervisors immediately. Collaborating with team members to meet production goals and deadlines. Adhering to proper ergonomics and using correct lifting techniques to prevent injury.

Maintaining a clean and organized work environment to minimize hazards and ensure compliance with housekeeping standards. Adhering to the Production and Safety Protocols. Other duties as assigned by the GM.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

Previous manufacturing or machine-operation experience preferred, but not required. Training will be provided . Basic understanding of production processes, quality control, and OSHA regulations. Ability to perform repetitive tasks with a high level of attention to detail. Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a team setting.

Flexibility to work different shifts or overtime as needed. A valid driver's license is required to perform the duties of this position. SAFETY REQUIREMENTS Personal Protective Equipment (PPE): Mandatory use of safety glasses, gloves, and other PPE as required by specific tasks. Lockout/Tagout (LOTO): Strict adherence to LOTO procedures during equipment maintenance to prevent accidental startup.

Machine Guarding: Ensuring all machinery is equipped with proper guards and safety devices to prevent accidental contact with moving parts. Hazard Communication: Understanding and following the Hazard Communication Standard (HCS) to ensure proper handling and labeling of hazardous substances. Emergency Procedures: Knowledge of emergency response procedures, including the location and use of fire extinguishers, eyewash stations, and first aid kits.

Ergonomics: Adherence to ergonomic practices to reduce the risk of musculoskeletal disorders, including proper lifting techniques and workstation setup. Incident Reporting: Immediate reporting of any workplace injuries, near misses, or safety concerns to supervisors and participation in incident investigations. WORKING CONDITIONS Standard manufacturing environment with exposure to machinery noise, dust, and chemicals.

Ability to lift up to 50 pounds as necessary. Standing for extended periods and performing repetitive tasks during production. Compliance with all OSHA standards related to workplace safety.
