Senior Accountant

Position is primarily responsible for supporting the company's accounting operations, financial reporting, and government contract cost accounting activities. The Senior Accountant plays a key role in ensuring costs are properly classified as direct or indirect and recorded in accordance with established accounting policies and applicable contract requirements, supports government contract billing, preparing account reconciliations, assist with monthly, quarterly and annual financial close processes and ensuring audit readiness for Defense Contract Audit Agency (DCAA) reviews and other financial audits.

Required Skills

BS in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration A reliable, responsible attitude and a commitment to quality Required Experience: 10 or more years of progressive accounting experience. Experience supporting audits, financial reporting, and month-end close activities. Desired Qualifications: Unanet Gov. Con experience preferred.
