Substitute Teacher

Description: Substitute Teachers, Substitute Teacher Assistants and Substitute Nurses Substitutes will be responsible for the appropriate care of students in the absence of the full time teacher/nurse. Subsitutes at the Harding Township School District should be an integral part of the school community. Substitute Teacher/Teacher Assistant Must hold a NJ Teaching License or a NJ Substitute Teacher License.

NJ Substitute Teacher License requires a minimum of 60 college credits. Salary: $150.00 per diem Substitute Nurse Must hold a NJ Substitute Teacher License and NJ Registered Nurse License or a NJ School Nurse License. Must be AED and CPR Certified. Salary: $225.00 per diem Qualifications: Provide meaningful instruction to students in assigned classrooms while regular teacher is absent Handle students' medical needs, whether routine or emergent Review and implement teacher's routines, procedures, lesson plans, and curriculum objectives Establish and maintain a safe and orderly classroom environment Report any incidents or potential incidents to school administration Be available to work on a consistent basis Perform other duties as directed by school administration Starting Date: Ongoing; Applicants will be called within a month of application for interview.
