Recovery Center Therapist

Recovery Therapist-FT at our Valparaiso location! Porter-Starke Services, a 501(c)(3) not-for-profit community health center, is seeking a skilled and compassionate Recovery Therapist to join our team in Valparaiso, Indiana. As a Recovery Therapist, you will play a critical role in conducting initial assessments for adults seeking assistance for opiate addiction via methadone treatment, developing treatment plans, and providing individual and group therapy.

Responsibilities

Conduct initial assessments for adults seeking assistance for opiate addiction via methadone treatment Develop treatment plans and refer to appropriate levels of care Provide individual and group therapy Complete thorough documentation in electronic medical records within established time frames Participate in weekly staffing with the Recovery Center clinical team and psychiatrist Provide education and case management services to patients as needed Maintain open communication and positive working relationships with referral sources and other providers Conduct outreach and provide education to community organizations and providers to reduce stigma, increase collaboration, and enhance referrals to MAT Perform other duties as assigned Requirements: Bachelor's degree in addictions, social work, psychology, or a related discipline from an accredited college or university required; Master's degree preferred At least 2 years' experience providing addictions assessment and treatment, including the provision of individual and group therapy Current LCAC, LAC, MAC required Benefits: 401k w/20% match 11 paid holidays Medical, Dental, and Vision insurance Competitive wages Generous PTO Employee discounts (YMCA) Employee referral program HSA/FSA accounts Monthly student loan repayment up to $200 Tuition assistance up to $5,250 Company-paid life insurance Casual Fridays Work-life balance Employee Assistance Program Company recognition events Free health screenings annually If you are passionate about providing high-quality care to individuals struggling with addiction, we encourage you to apply for this exciting opportunity.
