Groundskeeper / Maintenance Porter Apartment Services, Inc. – Randallstown, MD Full-Time | Outdoor Work Required | May Rotate Between Properties Pay: $16 hourly and Transportation Allowance Job Overview: Apartment Services, Inc. is seeking a dependable and hard-working Groundskeeper to help maintain a clean, safe, and welcoming community for our residents.

Key Responsibilities

Walk the property daily to pick up trash, remove debris, and maintain dog waste stations and dumpster areas Perform routine landscaping tasks such as mowing, trimming, and mulching Use hand tools and power equipment (leaf blowers, hedge trimmers, etc.) Remove snow and apply salt to sidewalks and steps during winter weather Keep the maintenance shop organized and stocked Report safety hazards and maintenance concerns to the Service Supervisor Assist with unit “make-ready” tasks as requested Follow company safety procedures and property security protocols Perform other duties as assigned Qualifications: Ability to operate power tools and landscaping equipment Basic knowledge of landscaping techniques and outdoor maintenance Good time management and attention to detail Ability to work independently and as part of a team Requirements: High school diploma or equivalent Valid driver’s license required Reliable transportation required; may be assigned to multiple properties during a shift Ability to lift 50 pounds and perform physical work (standing, walking, bending, kneeling) Able to work in various weather conditions (heat, cold, rain, snow) Availability for emergency response during inclement weather Benefits: Transportation Allowance 8 Paid Holidays Paid Funeral Leave & Jury Duty Leave Health Benefits (eligible 1st of month after 60 days): Medical, Dental & Vision Insurance Employer-paid Life Insurance Voluntary Life Insurance Short-Term & Long-Term Disability Flexible Spending Account (FSA) Retirement (eligible after 3 months, age 21+): Traditional & Roth 401(k) options Additional Perks: Employee Recognition Program Discounted Housing (more details available during interview)
