Responsibilities

The Clinical Laboratory Technician will perform the following job duties: Work closely with and under the guidance of a Clinical Laboratory Technologist to perform diagnostic laboratory procedures. Perform laboratory testing accurately, efficiently, and in a timely manner. Exercise limited independent judgment while following established laboratory policies and procedures.

Assist with routine diagnostic testing to support quality patient care. Operate under the supervision of a Laboratory Technologist, Laboratory Supervisor, or Laboratory Director. Maintain compliance with quality, safety, and regulatory standards in all assigned duties. Schedule FTE: .90 Hours: 7:00pm-7:00am Days: Variable Qualifications Education Required: Associates Degree in MLS.

Certificate training program at an approved school for Clinical Laboratory Technician level training leading to state licensure Licensure/Certification/Registration Required: Florida Clinical Laboratory license (TN) Experience Required: Must be able to read, write, speak and understand English Preferred: Previous laboratory experience Special Skills/Qualifications/Additional Training N/A The Clinical Laboratory Technician will perform the following job duties: Work closely with and under the guidance of a Clinical Laboratory Technologist to perform diagnostic laboratory procedures.
