Responsibilities

Provide leadership and oversight for the daily clinical and operational functions of the Ambulatory Surgery Center (ASC). Ensure compliance with all regulatory, accreditation, OSHA, infection prevention, and patient safety standards while maintaining survey readiness. Lead quality assurance, risk management, performance improvement, and patient safety initiatives.

Direct clinical staffing, scheduling, productivity, and workflow to ensure efficient operations and exceptional patient care. Recruit, train, coach, evaluate, and supervise clinical staff in collaboration with Human Resources and organizational leadership. Monitor and maintain staff competencies, continuing education, orientation, and performance management processes.

Oversee inventory, equipment maintenance, medication management, narcotic accountability, and supply utilization. Collaborate with physicians, clinical staff, and leadership to optimize patient outcomes, operational efficiency, and service excellence. Develop, implement, and maintain policies, procedures, and clinical standards in accordance with regulatory requirements and best practices.

Serve as a clinical resource and operational leader, providing support during emergencies, staffing shortages, and complex patient care situations. Promote fiscal responsibility through effective resource management, productivity improvement, and cost-containment initiatives. Foster a positive, collaborative culture that reflects organizational values and service standards.

Qualifications

Education/Certification/License: Graduate of an accredited nursing school. Current RN license in the State of Indiana. Must have CPR, PALS, and ACLS Certifications. Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities : Previous related experience with demonstrated administration ability and surgical competence. Experience in pre, post and intra op preferred. INDHP
