Live-In CHHA - driving female

Award Homecare is seeking a compassionate and dependable female Live-In CHHAwho can provide dedicated companionship and care for an elderly female client in New Jersey.This role requires a patient caregiver who is comfortable drivingand able to assist with daily needs while fostering a supportive and friendly environment.Bilingual candidates fluent in both Spanish and English are preferred to enhance communication and comfort for the client.

Responsibilities

• Assist with light personal care and daily living activities as needed.
• Drive the client to appointments, errands, and social outings safely and punctually.
• Monitor client’s well-being and report any changes in condition to family or supervising nurse.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and comfortable living environment for the client.
• Communicate effectively with the client in English and/or Spanish.

Requirements

• Must be a female caregiver.
• Minimum 5 years of caregiving experience required
• Provide companionship and emotional support
• Current New Jersey Certified Home Health Aide (CHHA) certification.
• Valid driver’s license and a clean driving record.
• Fluency in English; Spanish-English bilingual preferred.
• Demonstrated patience, compassion, and reliability.
• Ability to live in at the client’s home.
