Physical Therapy Assistant Full-Time or PRN

Description Vertis Therapy is seeking a compassionate and dedicated Full-Time or PRN Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA) to join our rehabilitation team at Glasswater Creek , a beautiful assisted living facility in Whitestown, IN. In this role, you will provide skilled physical therapy treatments under the supervision of a Physical Therapist, helping residents improve their independence, safety, and functional mobility.

Responsibilities

Treatment: Provide skilled physical therapy treatments under the direction and supervision of a Physical Therapist to help residents improve safety, functional mobility, strength, and independence. Documentation: Complete timely and accurate documentation. Collaboration: Communicate with the Physical Therapist and interdisciplinary team regarding resident progress, response to treatment, and any changes in functional status or needs.

Professional Development: Participate or lead team development meetings. Wellness Programming: Regularly lead community wide wellness programs and events.

Qualifications

Education

Associate Degree in Physical Therapy Assisting from an accredited institution. Licensure: Valid Physical Therapist Assistant state license or license eligibility. Skills: Proficient in implementing effective treatment plans. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work independently and in a team environment.

Physical Requirements: Ability to lift and assist clients as needed. Must be able to stand for extended periods and perform physical tasks related to therapy. Technology: Computer proficiency to document in electronic medical record platform.
